Pozgay-Kufrin Family Heritage (getting better...)

A few years ago, my beloved Aunt Patty had a WONDERFUL birthday present for Uncle Jeff ~ his family heritage. She spent soo many hours compiling and researching and contacting our family. Her sad passing last December has left emptiness in many hearts and teardrops on many cheeks (even as I type).

As one of my new projects this year, I have decided to keep up the search for our family roots and continue my Aunt Patty's (extensive) beginnings.

Today Oct 8, 2004:

I just got a VERY LARGE package from my Uncle Jeff with all of Aunt Patty's old photos and emails and letters. WOW there is a lot to sort through.

First thing I noticed is that my Uncle's (and dad's) first cousin twice removed (second cousin) ~ no idea what that is in relation to me ~ lives about 1/2 hour away from me. I am going to try to meet with him to get some good stories, first hand.

Until then, I'll continue to sort through all the goodies from UJeff and will update and add cool photos as I have time. But for now... you can visit the Family Tree page and see how exactly we're all related.

Ummm... In a PhD program, you don't have time for hobbies/interests until your third year. So right now, I'm trying to remember what old hobbies I had and am beginning some new ones.
